What is YSTCA?
YSTCA stands for Youth Services Through Cultural Arts and they are a team of community minded young musicians who use arts as the medium to raise funds for deserving causes through their signature fundraiser annual events. YSTCA team also organizes performances at various senior centers in the Bay Area primarily to entertain homebound seniors while also raising awareness about their annual fundraiser events.

How do we choose an organization to fund?
We select local non profit organizations that serve the community at large. Each of the YSTCA executive team member will identify and present qualifying organizations that can be supported and we choose ONE beneficiary from that based on various factors. It is usually the organization where our donations will make an impact.

Can the beneficiary organization be in India or any other foreign country?
No, all the YSTCA beneficiary organizations must be local to the Bay Area.

How can a student apply to become a YSTCA member?
Students must have volunteered in CCC at some capacity and must have shown interest to serve on the YSTCA committee by volunteering/participating in prior YSTCA events. They will be invited to apply when new recruitments happen and they may get selected if they have a compelling application.

How long has YSTCA been around?
Since 2012 YSTCA has been organizing fundraiser events annually and has generated over $196,000 for various non profit organizations in the bay area.

What are the upcoming events for this year?
For 2025, the executive teams have an upcoming Special event coming on September 13th, where we will be fundraising for CCC, this year's beneficiary. Our senior center executive team also has many events planned, stay tuned for the information on our website home page and our social media pages!

​If I would like my school to perform in YSTCA program, who should I contact?
That's great! Thank you for expressing your interest in performing! Please visit the "Get Involved" Page on our website, where you can sign up to perform as a group at our annual fundraiser event, or sign up to perform in smaller groups or a solo at one of our senior center events!
